Tree Removal:

We specialize in the removal of very large hazardous trees in small confined areas. Trees sometimes out grow their surroundings and cause a substantial risk of injury to people and property.

We are equipped for heavy take downs as well as small removals or the clearing of new home sites. Storms can weaken or damage a trees structural support causing a tree to become unsafe, or in severe cases break off entirely and fall onto homes or electric lines. We provide 24hr emergency service for these type cases.

 
Land Clearing:

Dave's Tree Service is equipped for all your clearing needs. We provide professional quality vista cuts which allow for a beautiful view at the same time keeping your trees healthy.

Vista cuts allow for the current trees to stay but are cut in a manner to enhance a mountain or reservoir view. We also do land clearing for home sites or power lines.

Stump Grinding:
We are equipped with stump grinders for any size stump. The machines grind the unsightly stump eight to ten inches below ground level leaving a pile of environmentally safe mulch.

We also have smaller stump grinders that fold in, making them narrower to gain access through small gates for backyard removals and to get closer to foundations or driveways.

 
Tree Surgery:
Dave’s Tree Service is equipped with all types of bucket trucks, cranes, and aerial devices but in some situations it is necessary to do it the old fashion way. We have certified climbers who are trained in the latest tree climbing techniques and the most modern equipment to ensure safety. Our company does not use tree spikes to climb, as spikes maybe in some cases faster and easier; they can cause severe damage to the cambium of your tree.

The following is just some of the types of tree surgery performed by our arborists.

Cavity Work: The cleaning out of dead diseased wood in a rotten core and treating the infected area. Re-supporting the hollow section to the cambium and allowing the wound to heal over.

Cabling: A steal cable installed through a weak leader to a strong support to keep the tree structurally supported.

Deep Root Feeding: Depending on the species and size, adding to the nitrogen and other necessary levels to heighten the vitality of a tree.

Pinning: Adding support to a crack or hollow section which is vital to the remaining portion of a tree.

Disease Treatment: Identifying a disease and treating to promote a safe and long living tree and eliminating the possibility of the disease to spread to other nearby trees.
