Zig and Dave Mazanowski started Mainscape while attending college at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in the summer of 1980. After graduation the company was moved to Fishers, Indiana, and then to Indianapolis in 1994. The company has grown to include locations in Fort Wayne, Indiana, North Carolina, Arizona, California, and Florida.

Not only are there over 13 miles of streets to keep clear, but in addition to the 715 homes the Home Owner's Association provides snow removal for the driveways and sidewalks for over 200 townhomes in the community. Mainscape carefully monitors the snow levels in the community and is quick to respond to the needs of the residents.
