- Irrigation and Sprinkler Systemswater features: Pools, spas, ponds, streams and waterfalls add an element of nature to your property. And we can design these features right into your existing lansdcape. A well designed and constructed water feature is low on maintenance and a joy to behold. The white noise of a water fall increases negative ions in the environment, resulting in a calming, meditative and contemplative space. Various technological advances such as ultra-violet lights, sand back wash filters and aeration combined with natural elements such as water, fish and plants and a knowledgeable installation are the keys to a beautiful and hassle free water feature. With over 33 years of experience in the design and construction of water features, we can help you realize your dream project! Irrigation: We design and build state of the art underground irrigation systems that provide water for your plants and turf in an efficient water saving manner. We use cutting edge irrigation technology to save you money and water, such as ET controllers, rain sensors, soil moisture sensors, programmable timers, and drip irrigation. We also maintain and repair existing irrigation systems, perform spring turn start ups, system winterization and sprinkler blowouts. The Boulder Denver area can be very dry. While native plantings and grasses are able to survive, others need a little help. Using a variety of products, including underground systems, large coverage sprinklers, micro-spray heads and drip emitters, our irrigation services can bring a brilliant planting environment and healthy lawn to your landscape. If you don't like paying to have your system taken off line for the winter, our systems are easy to work with and we'll show you everything you need to know.

About One Earth Landscape

One Earth Landscape is a design-build landscape construction company in Boulder, Colorado. Our services include landscape design, landscape construction, irrigation, planting of trees and shrubs, garden maintenance, lawn maintenance and mowing, setting boulders, water features, masonry, low voltage outdoor lighting, fiber optic lighting, excavation and snowplowing. Our work has focused on xeriscape designs, native plant selection, green construction and sustainable landscapes. We cover Louisville, Longmont, Lafayette, Broomfield, Golden, Superior and Lyons.
In designing a successful landscape, our mission is to create an environment of lasting beauty utilizing natural site resources in conjunction with the budgetary, functional and aesthetic objectives of our clients. James Zarka, the owner of One Earth was trained as a landscape architect and has been designing landscapes since 1978. The guiding principle at One Earth is to design landscapes that provide long lasting beauty and value. We strive to create unique projects in line with our customers needs. We encourage the use of drought tolerant, water efficient plants and designs that minimize large areas of thirsty flora such as bluegrass. As we are a design-build company, our designer and craftsmen work together through all phases of a project to ensure quality and accuracy.
One Earth Landscape designs and builds landscapes that provide long lasting beauty and value. The owner Jim Zarka has 33 years of experience and a degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University (1978). Jim is uniquely qualified to help you design the landscape of your dreams.
